Salary and Compensation

Greco Fresh Grille Crew Members earn an average pay rate of $12.00 to $14.00 per hour before tips. Tips average $4/hour on top of base pay. Crew Members may use an employee discount on food and meals off the menu. Greco Fresh Grille also incorporates a flexible schedule, though preference goes to workers with seniority.

Shift Lead (Blakeney)

Blakeney 28277 • Part Time • $17-$20/hr including tips


Job Description & Duties

As Shift Leader, you'll be responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring that safe, quality food is prepared and served; and that the restaurant crew is well-trained and provides excellent service. You'll maintain a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment. You'll be on your feet working while clocked in, unless on break. If you're not busy, you'll evaluate what other tasks need to be completed, and assist others with those tasks. WHAT YOU'LL DO

In addition to following Greco Fresh Grille’s policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Food Quality
  • Making sure great tasting, high-quality food is served
  • Resolving food quality issues
  • Managing food safety which includes: Ensuring hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and enforcing the Daily Food Safety Checklist and food safety policies and procedures
  • Customer Interaction
  • Resolving customer incidents and working to ensure positive customer experiences
  • Managing crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
  • Training and developing future Crew Members
  • Assisting with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork
  • Ensuring the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed
  • Troubleshooting back-of-house computers and POS system
  • Ensuring the line and reach-in cooler are organized and clean
  • Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the line, dining room, restrooms, and patio
  • Assisting with the execution of marketing promotions


WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Restaurant/Kitchen management Experience preferably at Quick Service or Fast Casual Restaurant
  • Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location


Salary and Compensation

Greco Fresh Grille Shift Managers earn an average pay rate of $14.50 to $16.50 per hour before tips. Tips average $4/hour on top of base pay. General Manager (Cornelius)

Restaurant Manager

Job Summary

The Restaurant Manager will oversee and manage the daily operations of the restaurant. Reports to the regional manager.


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Hires and trains restaurant staff.
  • Organizes and oversees the staff schedules in accordance with payroll requirements.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with restaurant policy.
  • Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Oversees food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.
  • Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
  • Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.
  • Estimates food and beverage costs.
  • Manages inventory and purchases food and supplies.
  • Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
  • Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance; schedules for service.
  • Collaborates with chefs to develop appetizing menus.
  • Maintains sales records and tracks cash receipts.
  • Prepares and submits operations reports and other documentation requested by the regional manager.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.

Education and Experience

  • ServSafe certification required.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
  • Prolonged periods standing.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
